Complaints Procedure:
We operate a complaints procedure as part of the NHS system for dealing with complaints. Our system meets national criteria.
If at any time the service you receive from us falls below your expectations, please talk in the first instance to the pharmacist on duty. If this does not resolve your problem, call our Head Office on (01785) 712829, and ask to speak to Harvey Northwood (Managing Director) or Peter Prokopa (Superintendent Pharmacist); alternatively, you can write to them at The Whitehouse Pharmacy, Market Street, Penkridge, Stafford ST19 5DH.
We will try to resolve any issues as soon as we can.
You may also seek advice from the local Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). PALS are not part of the complaints procedure itself but they might be able to resolve your concerns informally or they can tell you more about the complaints procedure and independent complaints advocacy services.
Contact: Amanda Salt – South Staffordshire PCT PALS, Block D Beecroft Court, Beecroft Road, Cannock WS11 1JP Tel. 01543 465106.
An independent complaints advocacy service (ICAS) is available to provide advice and support for people who wish to complain about the NHS. For details of this service, please contact:
